Crawford, VA C ckimbrough18 OP Mudrunner I just got my Trooper back on the road last night. It has been down for a couple of weeks with a bad clutch slave cyl. And I noticed that the charging needle jumps when I come to a stop. It drops down below 12 volts for a second and then comes back up to where it should be. I put a tester on the battery and it shows that it is charging 13.9volts with the lights off. And 13.2 volts with the lights on. Do I have a problem? Or is this normal? I was thinking that it should be charging 14.2 volts all the time. Thanks, Charles Trooper has been sold! Sounds suspect to me. Before taking it, clean all of the terminals and grounds.
