well i sold my 85 pickup and bought a 97 audi a4 1.8t quattro...love the car and the gas mileage

but last week this local kid... first day of his license, dad give him this truck and he wrecks it, no insurance....

so i bought it from the tow truck guy for $340...

its a 1994 4x4 22re automatic <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> with 150k... meticulously mantained no rust... frame is beautiful

you'll see the damage, i'll take some more pics as i have now taken it apart and started to repair...

runs great still, started right up

oh and the interior is all torn apart because the guy had to take his cb's out... i put it all back together today, i'll take some updated picks tomorrow. let me know what you think though

also... i'm sure as you'll notice that the inner fender on the passenger side is creased badly...


does anyone have a cab laying around?? that would want to cut this out and sell to me? is this piece the same on the 84-88's as the 89-95's??

looks like a project.. what do you plan on doing to it?

for now my plan is to return it to stock condition... fix it all... use it for work (landscaping this summer) instead of the audi... then most likely selling it before i go back to school in the fall
