On a 3.4 l T100 does the water pump have an oil cooler in it???

It has one, but its not in the water pump. The oil cooler is the tuna can sized thing on the driver's side of the engine block with coolant lines going to it and big bolt through the center.

but from what i have heard Toyota makes two differnt water pumps one wit hthe fitting and one without does that make sense???

I am guesing mine has the cooler fitting.
I am going to smack the parts guy at toyota he is no help to me what so ever

The local dealer told me the 2wd T's had no oil cooler and one less hose connector on the water pump. He told me this when I stopped to pick up the water pump I had ordered for my 4x4 T, he got the wrong one even with my VIN...

2wd 3.4 t100 has a different water pump than 4wd. ask me how i know. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

??? My 2WD T has an oil cooler, like Adam described - a tuna can sized thing on the driver side to the further back than the oil filter. Granted, that's quite a ways from the water pump.

Well I figured it ou MY 4wd 3.4l T100 Has a Oil cooler according to the to my parts guy. I changed my waterpump and timing chain and seals out yesterday it took about 2 hrs to do. Preety easy and i drove it today so i must have done something right.

Next on my list to do is Gears and look or a strait axles for a SAS
