Need a Spot
Just bought an 88 Cheeroke Pioneer 4.0 fi.Runs great needs some sheet metal and bondo.What I need to know is what kind of rear main seal it has.One or two piece?Other than the oil leak everything else seems to work fine. Thanks

Oil leak? Thats what keeps my oil pan lubed up to skid off the rocks. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> I wouldn't dare fix it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

lubing the undercarrage to protect from rock damage.... interesting theory....

Make sure that the leak is not the valve cover gasket before considering replacing that seal you speak of.

Classic problems with many of the valve cover gaskets due to improper installation or design with too few bolt points in the wrong places....

Just something to consider.
