Need a Spot
I just bought a 95 SR and after fixing some stupid stuff the previous owners neglected the only thing I can't figure out is the stereo when listening to fm it will come on and off. I have searched the web and found this to be a common problem. I have even found people said it's a bad solder connection. I have dismantled the stereo and can not find anything, I thought I'd see if anyone here has any info. Thanks <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Sorry, can't help but please post if you find out exactly where the problem is as mine does it occasionally too! I always found that giving a light tap at the upper left of the radio console worked, HTH!

Hey.. the one that was installed in my LWB when I got it did the same thing.. I would always just hit the side of the console until it came back on until one day something on the inside shorted out and light on fire! I killed the power and pulled over pretty quickly when that happened.

Be careful, I recommend just getting a new unit.
