Just wanted to know what the fuel pressuer was on the 2.8 Trooper fuel pump. I need to get my pressure up to like 65 for the vortec 4.3 Can I just leave the one in my tank and add an in line fuel pump to get the pressure that I need?

Thanks,
Daniel

The fuel pressure for the 2.8L is only 9-13psi. I was thinking that maybe you could use a larger Isuzu pump, but the 3.2 was only rated at 41-46psi and the 3.5 was only 42-45.
That cpi engine that you are using has to have that 65psi
to even cycle the injector"spider" assembly.
I would just run an external pump with a regulator, it will draw the fuel through the old pump.
