I am installing an anti-theft alarm in my car, I am worried about the airbag being active while I am messing around with the wiring, what is the best way to deactive the airbag, is it safe to pull the airbag fuse. Thanks in advance

Per Toyota documentation...
Disconnect the battery and wait a minimum of 90 seconds before doing your work. The reason for the 90 second delay that the airbag system has its own electrical energy storage and it takes that long to drain down.
Also the airbag wiring is covered with a yellow loom so it can be easily identified so you'll know not to tamper with it..

Thanks for the reply, but I wish there was a way that I had power to the other systems to test the installation. Removing the battery kills everything.
