Body Damage is Cool
Just double checking, Do I need Precision 5.29T gears for a V6 housing, or is that the wrong brand for real V6 gears? Yea I burned mine up. Hammers broke a stud off and it was leaking. I didnd't catch it till it was to late. Now I want to drive it to GSMTR.

BTW, Hi Havn't been here in a while. Anything new and exciting, or are they still the same questions in a new order?

Roll Me Over
I bought Yukon 5.29's for my rear V6. they have a seperate part # for the 4cyl and V6's. my ring gear actually said V6 on it. So I'm assuming it's different than the 4cy set. or they'd save a lot of money and put 4cyl/v6 on the same part #. So look into yukon. I was skeptical at first, but they seem just as good as the next.

Hey Paul, I saw ROTR's article in Toyota Trails. Pretty cool! I'll have to join up with you guys since I'm in TLCA now, just as soon as I get my truck up to par.

I think the best deal on gears can be had by PORC over pirate4x4.

US Gear makes a true V6 R&P for Toyotas in 5.29:1 ratio. They were my 1st choice for gears, no problems yet. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
