what is the best place to go through the firewall for the switch on a 1995 4runner <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> ??

I found that drilling a small hole through the firewall just below the factory hole works the best. I would definitely suggest getting a small rubber gromet that will protect the wires through the hole.

If the wires are small enough, you can usually squeeze them in the same grommet as the hood release cable.
