Getting the Wheeling Fever
Is the 3.4v6 in a 95 T-100 and a 03 Tundra The same motor ??? The reason I ask is aguy totaled his Tundra and its headed to the junk yard but all the damage is from the cab back and i can pick up The engine complete for $500.00
with only 14,000 miles on it.. So is it a direct replacement?? Or would i need The 03's ECM???

Body Damage is Cool
The engine is the same. The electronics and accessories differ.

Strip stuff off the long block and put it on your donor long block, and you're set to drop it back in. Easier to do this stuff with a pair of engine stands, rather than cussin about stuff while in the engine compartment. You can always post down in the parts bin to sell what you don't want when you're done. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

HOWEVER, I'd do a compression and/or leakdown test on the donor before you start to make sure it's still okay. Just a thought.
