I just purchased a 2000 Tacoma about four weeks ago and everything was fine till this afternoon. On the way home from work I noticed the engine light came on. I have an OBDII diagnostic tester, hooked it up and got some funky numbers. Do I need an OBDI tester?

OBDII. just went to autozone and they used an OBDII. Mine doesn't seem to want to work on my truck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />. Turns out it was just an O2 sensor. Case anyone was wunderin'
