My '95 SR won't start so I thought the battery went dead. Put the charger on it and it read a full charge. I kept turning the key and somehow after a few minutes I got it to start. Looked at the volt meter and turned on all the lights and the alternator charging looked fine.Turned it off and tried to start it again and it acted up again <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />...I'm thinking it might be the starter, but it still acts like a dead battery(dim lights). Is there some kind of regulator or something doing this or?????...Anyone ever come across this? Thanks, Ron

Check the ground. This has been an issue with some in the past.

I had a similar problem and solved it the same way, but after reading another article about current bleeding out because of dirt and grime, I removed the battery and completely scrubbed and cleaned the entire battery compartment as well. Haven't had any problems since.
