Getting the Wheeling Fever
Anyone know if the repop chrome bumpers being sold on Ebay have a good fit and finish? Can someone suggest a good source for repop parts?

'96 rodeo, 3" lift with both calmini and DOR parts, 265/75/r16's on Eagle alloys, K&N drop-in filter and flowmaster exhaust, superwinch hubs, TJM Bullbar, and a custom (home-made) rear bumper, and still working on it...

I bought a black one off ebay, and it fit well, but the finish oxidized pretty quick. I spray painted it black, and looks fine now. If the black paint on mine was crappy, I would expect the chrome plating to be pretty thin on the chrome stuff.

I bought one of these chrome jobs from Wheelers Auto Body Supply for my 94 Amigo, chrome is thick, but I painted it black to match the end caps. One hole was not punched just right and had to drill it a little to get the end cap on. The metal on the after market was about twice as thick as the OEM bumper <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />.

It looks good compared to the dented up bumper that was there from my son's collision (10 mph) with a Toyota. $250 in damage to the Amigo, $1500 damage to the Toyota! And the Toy was newer with the impact bumpers! Cheap junk...

'94, and '00 Amigos and '00, 01 Rodeos. Rodeo springs and aftermarket 'hard top on 94. Aisin hubs OME 919's on the 2000 Amigo. 2000 and 2001 Rodeos have OME 912's and Aisin. Smoother ride with the OME 919's???
