22RE...I remember reading it was 80 psi back in 1994....if you are looking to replace your FP then you might want to hit AutoBone.....they normally stock the real ND FP for about 120.....not a cheap imitation. Same FP that the 1990 Sami uses.....same as Celicas....same as Camries I think.

The pressure at the fuel rail is under 40 psi with the regulator. Not sure the raw output pressure of the pump or flow rate, though.

Where in the hell have you been Matt? Is that 4Runner still giving you problems? Ive been tempted to take it off your hands and try and figure out WTF is wrong with it besides all the DOA parts. LOL
Seriously though...hows about an update on things you have done since I last seen you.
BTW- Got me a 22RE with automatic equipped rig now too....85' Celica GT. So Im learning more about the combination. Might be able to figure your problem out one of these days.

haha hey bud. i been focusing on my job and school...the runner has had to take a back seat for a little bit. hell yes, still giving me problems. i recently moved, and drove it out to my new house...20 or so minutes away from my old one. drove it out there, still horribly sluggish and slow. I just threw up another post, i went out to start it up yesterday....crank crank fired but it was a half assed one, then nothing....now its just crank crank crank crankcrankcrankcrank you get the point.

You should have between 33-40 psi at the fuel rail when the Fp test connector is shorted.
The pump should be capable of putting out at least 50 psi max. pressure against a gauge.
A couple of quick checks that require no equipment are:
Remove the rubber return line off of the hard line on the firewall and turn the key to start without pushing in the clutch. With the auto I am not sure what the result would be if the transmission was in drive? You might have to disable the starter to do this test with the auto. You should have fuel flowing through the return line with the key in the start position. If the pump doesnÆt run with the key in the start position but works with the jumper I would be looking at the wiring between the ignition switch and the circuit opening relay as well as the circuit opening relay as well.
Check the fuel pulsation dampener after cranking the engine, the bolt head under the plastic cover should be flush with the top of the dampener case if there is pressure present.
