Okay, so my buddy broke a rear diff stud in half this weekend while getting crazy in 2wd. Aside from the dealership, are there any aftermarket ones available out there? And what are you guys torquing the diff nuts to? I think factory spec is about 19ft/lb? These nuts always seem to get loose on his diff, couldn't hurt to locktite I guess...

I got a replacement for mine from my friendly local ACE hardware store. M8x1.25 threads if I recall correctly.
I torque mine to factory spec and I have never had one come loose. Does he use lock washers?

Lockwashers should be used. If he has to buy some, be sure to get good quality ones.
