Man sorry 'bout your troubles Joe. I guess Portland is the only 4 Wheel Parts store that does right by a guy, always had great service and knowlegeable staff. Too bad really, service is just not valued by the stores anymore.

Thanks Mark for the e-mail address. I just sent him an e-mail detailing all of the calls and the run around I got.

If he really does care about customer service let's see his reply.

Joe

I'm interested in these great deals I keep hearing about from the "show". What show is it? Truckfest? I'd love to get some new wheels like 1badtrooper did, and if theyre so cheap, some shocks like his too.

I just bought 5 new MT Classic II wheels from them a few months ago. Once they got here, 3 of them had one style center cap and the other two had a completely different one. It was not a problem for me since two of them needed cut open to allow access for my Aisin's anyway... but its just little things like that that can negatively skew customers' opinions of a business. I wish now I would have called them about it just to see how accommodating they'd be.

You mean they actually acknowledged your presence? I walked around for 20 minutes and never even got a "Hello". Needless to say, I've never been back.

That sucks...too bad paying customers get that treatment.

Joe,
I apologize for the slow service. I will look into the process and make sure we do not drop the ball again. I would like to send you a gift certificate for a future purchase. Please forward me an address to do so.

Thank you for your understanding

I guess that's a decent response.

Sounds like it! At least the message got through to where it needed too.

Its better than most companies give, but it shouldn't have even come to this. I keep getting their catalog every year but have been hesitant to order because of the problems I see here and on other forums. Although most are minor (IMO, I am not trying to down play anyones incident) and it seems to work out in the end, it sucks when you want something, you expect it at a certain time, and they blow it.

I told him that an order placed on the 4th and didn't get shipped till the 12th was rediculous.

I must be missing something here they took 4 more days then you thought to ship your order and you are mad?

Man just wait untill you start your trooper project. If all I had to wait was eight days on some of this stuff I would be thrill to death

Glad to see you got it all worked out though.

Later,
Daniel
