I remember seeing on this site or somewhere that you can put a tundra oil pickup tube in the tacoma were it would move it more towards the back of the oil pan. Does anyone have a link to the thread.

Was that with regard to the 3.0 to 3.4 swap?

Why would you want to do that?

Sure it wasn't a T-100? I know they use the oil pan from a 2wd T100 when doing a SAS. I thought they used the t100 pickup as well.

I think it might have been that. The oil pickup tube was in towards the front of the oil pan. When they bought a new oil pan and pickup tube, it moved it to the back allowing for better pickup on an incline. I couldn't remember if they did it to a tacoma or if you would really need to.

Is the tacoma oil pickup in the back of the oil pan?

You'd have to climb something incredible to starve the pickup...

And if it's better for an include, what do you do on a decline?

the only reason for doing that is when doing a SAS. you have to change out the oil pan cause it will interfere with axle, otherwise, its pointless. actually i dont even think you can put a t100 pan in a taco until you get the IFS diff outta the way
