Im Taking off all of the ADD junk on the Carrier I just picked up.. Little confused by the FSM sticky were have here.. In the dissasembly pic it shows a snap ring on both shafts, however in the removal of each of these they are either pulled out or tapped out. It says nothing about removing these clips (I have the diff cover off and i can't even see these snap rings)

Okay, i got it... Tapped the driver side shaft out easily with a hammer, and pulled the other side with a dent puller <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> (Fabbed a piece of steel that was bolted to two sides of the flange and hole in the center for the puller) Worked out very well.
