Been a few days since the new bars were installed. On-road handling is much improved. The float is gone, body roll reduced and no nose dive on the brakes. I can tell that the suspension is not ballanced front to rear. Nothing that bothers me, but I can tell it.

No settling as of yet.

Off-road - we went up the mountain yesterday. I can tell a big difference off-road. You can feel a lot more. You can also feel when you back into a large bolder when you are not paying attention ...OOps I was going to take "on location" pics, but I was embarrassed since the whole crew was with me.

Now, I need to find a Driver's side rear half bumper and the grey plastic corner. I think I found a donor vehicle. Gotta make time to get by there and ask.

and who said body damage was cool?

Some OME rear springs would probably balance that out nicely...not sure about first gens though.

Joe D has a set of OME springs for the Troopers and also a set of Heavy Duty OME springs.

I'd say that'd more than balance it out.

I want to see how the extra weight on the frontwill effect the handling first.

I am mounting the highlift to the front brush guard and will add a winch later.

Not sure if this will change it much. Anyone got some before and after results with adding weight to the front on swayaways?
