Getting the Wheeling Fever
today i hit a tree wiht the side of my tire...it got bark and ***** all in between the rim and tire... so my problem is now the wheel cuts hard to the left...i aired down teh tire and cleaned all the junk in there...and it still does the same thing...nothing looks broken...i have a 91 pickup v6.. any suggestions?

If you hit hard enough, the toe in or camber angles could be off. Might be worth a check at the alignment shop. Doesn't take much to knock the IFS steering out of whack.

I might take a look at the idler arm as well. Pushing the wheel from the side like that is a great way to bend one. If that is the case, they are not expensive. I would, however, invest in an idler arm brace like the one from Downey Off Road. I put one on many many years ago and idler issues are no more.

i will check that...i live in MA and my truck failed inspection for an idler arm, its fixed now but i'll check
