I am installing the new 4 inch ifs lift I got the other day used. I think it is a rough country but I am not entirely sure. I was trying to mount the diff to those round little shock absorbers, and was unsure of which way the plate should face... anyone have any idea? I mounted it so that the plate angles towards the drivers wheel, but I have no basis on why I might have done that and things dont seem to be lining up.. here is a picture --- thanks danny ![[Linked Image]](http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a276/unifides/webdiff.jpg)

I don't remeber exactly but as I'm sure you've gathered aligning the third is the goal. However, the plate is not thick, if you put it inbetween the it and the surface it to which it was attached, you have only shifted it .25" which is very little. If all the other mounting holes line up I would not worry about it.

Thanks for the advice-- we got it all figured out. I am posting a big post of everything I am doing to my truck soon (bedliner, lift, stereo, electrical, some other stuff). Thanks again--
