Has anyone ever run the Super Swamper LTBs? They are a bias ply construction with an aggressive three lug design. Just curious if anyone has run them and how they perform...

There is a guy in the club I ride with that has them on his Rubicon and they dig. Curtis ran them for a while on his Raider and he says they dig. Swampers are not a road tire. Those are the ones I considering going to when I go to 31s or 33s haven't figured out what im doing yet seeing how it won't idle right now

I mounted a set for a guy at work. Very stiff. 2 out of round like LandRaider's.
They were going on a Jeep and I refused to attempt to balance them (I was working for free). The first 2 I put on the machine asked for 15 to 22 oz.
They took them to a tire place and paid to have them balanced. In the end they had it done very cheaply since the tire shop couldn't get it right and discounted it deeply to try to limit their own liability. I think they charged for their cost on the weights only.
Long story short, the worst tire was still 4 ounces out. I was told it drove much, much better even with one tire that far out.
With as much highway driving as I do, there probably won't be any Swampers on my rig. If I ever move back to Oregon that might change.

Go with the procomp x-terrains great tire, and not very loud. They do tend not to clean out well in sticky mud tho I think there running the buy 3 get one free deal now to

I had a set of TSLs they rocked off road. I had just the regular tsl, not radial. They balanced fairly well, you could still feel them. Not too bad if you are not driving much on road long distances everyday.

x-terrians suck in the mud. Only tires for the mud are swampers.

Ok no mud around here in PHX only lots of rocks. As far as the TSls, the LTBs are said to be more agressive???? I believe that the three stage lug on the two are virtually the same. I was considering the 34x10.50R15 to get the larger tire without having to fork out the $$$ for some new rims...
thanks for the feed back guys...see you on the trail...

Slap that body lift in first, or you won't be driving very far with 34's. You'll still be having some rubbing issues, but we can fix, er modify (pound with hammer) that.
