Good Morning Guys, A friend of mine just bought a 1947 cj2a.
It has had the engine replaced with a 6 cylinder larger axels and a chevy steering column. I have no other details as of yet. The question is this. He has to turn the steering wheel several times around to bring the wheels to a complete turn. He could use a few hints as to what to look for...Thanks John

Maybe he should look for a complete power steering unit in the Junk Yard? If the same ratio was in both powered and unpowered it would take us both to steer them things..

Yup, in a good setup, the tiniest move of the steering wheel will turn the pitman arm a small amount as well.
