My mechanic told me that i should change my oxigen sensor (position 2) after the OBDII codes; i just wonder if i should look for the universal one, the bosch or the denso part. It's universal sensor as bad as they said?
Any suggestions? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> 96 T100 3.4L 4WD

I can't speak for the sensor element itself in the universal part, but my gut feel is that it is the same as in the OEM part. I replaced mine a few months ago. I chose not to go with the universal because the universal parts I looked at did not include the connector. I don't have much confidence in the splices they used.

I don't like the universals, they never fit right and you always have to end up hacking off the connector and splicing your wires to it. check out http://www.oxygensensors.com/the denso OEM o2 sensor is $107.
