Opened the door this morning to find about a half cup of antifreeze in the drivers side floor of my '83 this morning. Anyone ever have that happen? Is my heater core necessarily busted? Haven't really checked it out yet as I had to get to work, so I drove my other car.

Could be heater core or a hose leaking at the hard pipe to hose connection at the firewall. I had one leaking right at the firewall and it pooled under my go fast foot along the transmission tunnel. Almost had the heater assembly removed before I figured it out.

Thanks Darin, I believe I know exactly what you are talking about. I'll check that hose at the firewall before I touch the heater core.
