I have to get new tires and I haven't had time to keep up on what is good and what is crap. Right now I have some mud tires but because of school I don't have the opportunity to go off road so I will be going to a more street friendly tire for a while. Which of these is the better tire/deal? Tire size 265/75/16 prices include mounting, stems, and balancing. Nitto Terra Grappler $523 Toyo Open Country A/T $423 Dayton Timberline A/T $426 Sport King Baja A/T $360
Thanks for the help guys.

Well, if I had to go with one of those, I'd pick the Open Countrys.
Butm you can't beat the Reliability, and A/T goodness of Bridgestone Duller REVO's.
Just my .02 Cents though...

I've also heard several people (here and off any of the forums) give positive reviews of the Bridgestone Dueler Revo's for a multi-use tire that sees lots of street use. Be aware that there's several tires with similar names.

Yeah I started out wanting Revo's but they are running around $600 at least and once I am finished with school I hope to put something a little more aggressive on it than just an A/T.

Dude where do you go tire shopping, Beverly Hills or something ? Those prices you posted are beyond ridiculous.
Earlier this year I put 4 Bridgestone Duelers (245-70/16) on my Trooper for $165 ea at Costco. The Dueler Revos were about $20 more ea. BFG ATs were around $200.
BFG AT/MT generics (Sport King/Mud King) are under $120 for 33s.
My 36-12.50/15 TSL Radials were only $200 ea.

I was impressed with how cheap the prices were that chitrod posted for a set of 4 tires.

My son has Timberlines on his Cherokee and they are great tires for the money. He abuses them regularly and they are holding up well. Also, fairly quiet on the road.
I have Revos on my Runner and they are outstanding, if you don't mind the extra spend. Pushing 30K miles and they look new (except for the mud).
