Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hi guys,
I am new here and had a few questions about the rear suspension of my 95 Toyota Tacoma. Looking at the rear of my truck it leans to the left. So I looked underneath and noticed the the left leaf spring is not as curvy (for lack of a better word) as the right. Is my leaf spring bad? Also when I go down the freeway sometimes it rocks back and forth. I have recently replaced all my shocks and struts. Is it my leaf spring that is causing the rocking from side to side? Man this is a long post. sorry guys.
Thanks ralleyclimber

Also what is a good way to test or what should I look at to see if there is a problem with the leaf spring?

The 95 Tacoma's have a known issue with rear leaf springs breaking. Take a real close look at all the leafs, look for any signs of cracks or breaks. If it is a leaf spring and you have a Toyota dealer nearby you may be able to get it replaced for free, there was a TSB/recall out on these broken springs.

Otherwise Wheelers OffRoad has replacement springs: www.wheelersoffroad.com
