Hey everyone, I'm new here (to the forum and Toyota)I just bought my first Toyota, 2003 Tacoma SR5, 4x4, 5 speed auto, TRD edition. I have always been a Ford guy and I still love Ford trucks, but desided to try a Toyota because all my buddies that have them or have had them tell me they are great trucks. Any info on these trucks (good or bad) would be great. I want to be sure that I haven't got myself into something I might not like. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

Hi! Welcome to the board! I'm an old Yota head. Got the 3.4 or the 2.7 in there? The 3.4 was an improvement over the pre-Taco 3.0, and the 2.7 has the same ponies as the 3.0.

I used to be a ford guy until I bought my first used (88) toy years ago and have been hooked since. Anymore (no kidding) I'm the guy that usually has to pull everyone else outta the muck...
