Getting the Wheeling Fever
Anyone have or know where I can find a cargo net for my '95 SR? They are obsolete now and cannot be found through the 'dealer network'.

-thanks

Did the Gen II's have cargo nets available?

Are you looking for a net that goes over the cargo, or, one of the 'envelope style' nets that go across the back that you can put odds and ends in?

EBay has lots of cargo nets for sale for various makes and models. The trick is to find a more current car and model that takes the same size net as the '95 Monty. Most of the net postings on EBay don't provide the dimensions-- just the make and model of car they were made for.

OT- Gen II LWB: anyone know what the little plastic hooks in back along each side in front and in back of the rear windows were for? I could not see any reference to these in the owners manual for our 'new' '97 SR.

90 LWB RS: 3 L/mt, JBaker springs, bushings, swaybars. KYB shocks tweaked, 134k mi, original owner.
97 LWB SR: SOLD Sep. 2014 131,006 mi: running boards removed, BFG 31x10.5 AT/KO tires, Air locker, AirLifts, KYB shocks, Cibie fogs, 3rd owner.

Looking for the net to hold down the rear cargo. I see lots on Ebay for Montero sport but never for Montero. I wonder if the attach points would match up with the cargo hooks in mine. Anyway, are you refering to the 'seat belt buckle keepers' that the belt buckles are held in when not in use?

If they don't have it they will make it custom per your needs. These guys are super cool to deal with.

That cargo net wasn't all that great. Really small, didn't stretch enough...so I decided to improve it:

I built it. Pics here (there's a pic of that net in there)

After making one I can kinda see why manufacturers get $1500 for them

The little plastic hooks hold a fabric type canvas factory cover for hiding items on the back floor on my 95 SR. The cover has eyelets in it to fasten over the hooks. Mine is a light brown like my interior. I have never used it. It is in the garage with my jump seats and hardware.

I have one of those fabric covers for the cargo space. It's pretty useless IMO so I never use it.
