How how hard would it be to make my 96 3.4 a manual from an automatic?

Well, you'd need to find a wrecked 3.4L 5sp truck and get the transmission, driveshaft, clutch pedal and bracket, slave cyl, master cyl, hydraulic lines, etc. and if your truck is 4wd then of course you will need the transfer case and related parts.

then after you get everything you will have to cut a hole in your floor for the shifter and put it all in. it can be done but its a big pain in the butt.

I believe if you look next to your master brake cylinder you can see where the hole for the clutch slave is stamped into the firewall, which helps with positioning...

I dont know for sure but you may need an ECU from a manual 3.4L T100 as well
