It's my understanding Mike Nevitt aka AZRain has resigned from 4x4Wire altogether - from the board, as a writer, possibly as a moderator?

I've emailed 2X with no response, I'll try and call him as well (if I can find his #).

This would be a huge loss for 4x4Wire, both on the forums and from the business side. Mike brought an awful lot to this place, he was wonderful to work with, and he will be missed. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> (if this is indeed the case)

Wasn't Mike looking at a job back East?

Oooooooooo how I hate computers some days... I had written a book about the whys and wherefore's, I'll have to re-write it again.

In a nutshell, I work too much, my family doesn't know me and I'm severely burned out on life. Nonetheless, 4X4Wire is my extended family and will always have my loyalty and support. I just need to get my sh!t together and do not want to hinder progress of the the Wire by being unable to commit.

More later.

Mike I know exactly how you feel. There are ways to mod without taking much time. Take a look through my posts, you'll see that I rarely post anything anymore, just no time, but I do occasionally move posts around and check in on the kids here. The forums aren't too bad lately, kinda nice not to have to police much. I won't be around much at all the next couple months until I get settled in Virginia.

Same deal here.. I'm on the road a fair amount.. I've stopped posting the "I'll be away messages" since it happens so frequently..

Hey Bill, are you coming to the NASA/Langley facility?

I got to talk to Mike last Friday, hopefully he'll chime in here again.

It sounds like his business is so much more busy than he expected, and he's just not getting to spend the time with his family that they all need. So he needed to free up some time and drop some things.

I hope this is not permanent! But I completely understand. It sounds so cliche but it's entirely true - family and real life are always #1, this place is down the list of priorities.
