German Automobil club (ADAC) tested the Landwind (Chinese copy of the old Rodeo). Regular 40mph offset crash test.
Look at the pictures:

According to ADAC the worst crash test result in their 20 years of testing.
I guess after that they won't sell that many anymore.

With and above all approve of to models recruit the first Chinese manufacturers send on the Frankfurt IAA the European public. But how it looks with the security of the Chinese cars? In a Crashtest General German Automobile Association had to prove the new jeep land wind of the manufacturer Jiangling its qualities. Result: The land wind fell through with catastrophic results with the General German Automobile Association Crashtest. In the 20-year old history of the General German Automobile Association Crashtests still no vehicle cut off more badly, reads the devastating judgement of the automobile club.

I guess maybe 'jeep' is the only word in German for '4x4' ???

I don't think that will happen to my Rodeo with my steel bumper and boulder bars.
