Is there any rule for how much lift can be done before a extended rear brake line is required? Thanks

At 3" of lift on my truck the back brake line was as tight as a guitar string...You could probably get away with 1" but I personally wouldnt go any higher because if you offroad when your axle droops thats one inch less you have of brake line...I dunno if that makes any sense, but it made sense in my head...Why dont you just buy the longer lines so you can lift it as high as you want?

I've seen a number of (Tacoma) rear lifts where the shocks were limiting the droop. So even if you think the length of the brake hose is o.k., it might not be if a rear shock breaks while wheeling. As near as I could tell, everyone of our sponsors at the top of the page offers an extended length hose for about $29. Pretty cheap insurance compared to a PITA trail repair
