Need a Spot
From what I've been finding, '95 SR's didn't come with fog lights installed. Fog lights were available as a factory dealer accessory option. Since these fogs were not factory, I cannot find any wiring/installation details.

My fogs worked for a while, but they know longer work anymore. I checked both fuse boxes and no fuse were burnt. Can anyone tell me what they're spliced to? I can test for power on the lines near the lamps, but I can't see where it gets it's power from.

I've seen one factory fog light switch that had a fuse in the switch. You have to pull the switch out and turn it over to find the fuse.

I just bought new bulbs. I'll pull the dashboard switch and check for a fuse.

My Sr that I just bought has fogs that don't work. I am interesting to hear what you do to solve the problem.

Doug; That would depend on how they were wired. I would first apply power and ground to the bulbs to see if they are working. Now at this point i would turn on the headlamps(low beam) and activate the fog lamp switch. DO we have power and ground to the lamps? I have seen some setups that use a relay to supply ground to an already powered up fog lamp. So be aware that this can go either way. Typically the fog lamps should not operate with the headlamps on high beam.
Good luck

Also, some fog lamps will not work unless the low beams are on.

Or you can try what I am going to do with mine.....My lamps are there but one lens is broken ,my switch is there , but no wiring in between the lights and the switch .....All I am going to do is order One Mitsu. part # MB32310 Lower grille (replaced to fix the holes in the plastic grille that was cut out to install the OEM lights, one Mitsu. part #MB899476 Fog Light switch cover.. I'm gonna pop out the factory switch-replace it with the blanking cover, remove the lower grille -replace it with the new piece and Voila..my problem solved for about $20.00 total. - new OEM '95 Fog Lamp Kit $ 180 dollars plus wiring headaches!!!

Yep, thats why i asked him to turn on the low beams before testing for power and ground.
Frank: How did that LSD work for you on that trip to Colorado?

Conner -

I don't have an LSD - open at both ends. I tried to locate one, but it turned out to be an open unit - so I pulled my rear 3rd member and adjusted the gear lash - got the whine out of it anyway.

I had no trouble with open differentials in CO - slipped the right rear tire once above Tomboy Mine in loose stuff from an off-trail spot climbing a VERY steep bank to get back on the trail (where we saw the fox). I tried another line not quite so loose and went right up. Mud and slick rock are a different story I'm sure, but as long as it's fairly dry the open differentials are fine - the SWB trucks climb like a billy goat.
