Yep....Staceman came over to my place on Monday and it took us all day. We used my torch/MIG/drill/grinder. We made our own passenger side Y arm. Basically, Stace's life was in my hands there but I think he will continue to live
Anyways, maybe Stace will update this more with his impressions later this weekend....(he's very busy with work and honey do's)....
Here's 2 pics.....

thanks...it's MIG....welded using a 30 degree downhill approach with a Millermatic 185 on a low power position #2 with 030 wire. Welded with slow travel in a "Z". I posted something similar to this over in Yotatech and while the responses were respectful and polite, some did not think this should ever be done to a street driven rig. Stace realizes my skills and seemed very comfortable with me doing whatever I recommended. I don't do anything to anybody else's rig that I wouldn't do to my own. No beer was involved ZUK

ZUK, you know I respect you greatly, but why do you insist on building steering arms when safer options exist?

With the current price of steering arms being practically nothing I do not understand why anyone would run welded steering arms on a street rig.

While I am sure you are a competent welder I believe you made a poor decision to weld up his arms. Should your weld fail you have left yourself wide open to litigation as has the owner of the truck. Bad idea. Welded arms have failed in the past and will continue to in the future. I hope yours does not.

If I were you I would stick to gears.

Easy on ZUK fellas.
1), the rig only sees pavement when heading to a trail.
2), I had a PS box, spare pass side arm, and just went to 35" tires. I wanted to move the axle forward a little, and use a u-bolt flip. My bolts were and plates were all bashed up. So, in a nutshell, I'm into crossover for $140 or so. I used SKY's beefy draglink, and pitman arm end. Also beefy
Here's a few more pics installed.

PS. I am not worried regarding strength, especially coming from ZUK. You really gotta see his work first hand. Digital pics. just don't do the justice deserved!!

A true custom part, I have to say looks like he did an outstanding job . What's so bad about doing something different? I don't know him, but I don't think our trucks would be half as custom or inovative if it weren't for the guys who try something different, or just make it themselves, like ZUK.

Keep on fabricating

I ran an AllPro fabricated double arm for years, no problems at all with it. Of course at the time, this and the Aqualu cast arm were about the only two options:

And I guess my current high-steer steering arms are welded and bolted, not exactly stock, though:
