I'm considering buying some new ones, however, I'm a little reluctant since they do not have the beefy type tread for an SUV tire. I;m looking for an overall city/once in awhile offroad and snow tire and was wondering if this is the tire since it has a really good price $70.00/tire ( new) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> 1989 Montero V6 Automatic. All stock in immaculate condition. New comer to the scene and want to learn more!! These things even brand new aren't the best of traction even on dry pavement. Of course, this is only my opinion and experience with them. But the solid outer rib on the tire does tend to combat common wear found on SUVs.
