Stick to OEM wires. You'll be glad later on.

Too close for missiles, I'm switching to guns...

Body Damage is Cool
I've always heard, from many 'yota guys around me that NipponDenso or NGK if you're a little cheap are the best thing to get for your toy.

The only option for plug wires is the toyota dealer. Your truck will punish you for anything else. I've always picked up the cap & rotor from them too, but the plug wire are MANDATORY.

They may seem expensive (I think wires, cap & rotor were $50ish all together way back when) but remember that you'll be running them for about 5-6 years, as opposed to maybe a month on AutoZone wires, and a year on the cap & rotor.

For the plugs, Nippondenso (factory) should be available at autozone. NGK also work well. Those are your only two options for plugs that last. If a Toyota comes into your posession with ACDelco, Champion, etc plugs, throw as far as possible and replace with decent replacements. NGKs & Denso's are cheap enough at less than $2/plug that there's no excuse not to run them.

Feel free to replace either of these with whatever you like. I did. Twice. Them I gave up and put quality parts on there. Purred like a kitten, and still does, 5 years later. I still haven't changed anything except the plugs since then.
