Getting the Wheeling Fever
I needing advice as to when to change all the bushings underneath the truck? I don't know which bushings are what, I'm trying to get to know my truck better. I've done some mods with the site help and would like some helpful advice before I start tearing stuff down. The truck has 94k miles and never had the bushings replaced. 4 day weekend this coming weekend and will be working on it. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Andy

If you're not experiencing any problems, why not do an upgrade?

One of my favorite upgrades is Bilstein HD shocks. They are firmer than factory Bils, but I really like their performance.

Commonly replaced bushings are the steering rack and the anti-sway bar.

Or maybe you would consider the grey wire mod or adding brighter tail lights?

How about an often missed maintenance item, like bleeding the brakes.

Just some random ideas..... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
