There's a link with a pic of my scorpion a couple pages back on this thred....i love it. Got my brother the jeep for Christmas because he likes my truck more than his. My scorpion is much more capable with only the front coils cut, tires cut, and the rear on a single centered shock.

I got mine at a local Meijers store. I've seen them at wal mart, and they should have them at target. Here is a link for them at target

NOTE...there is no GREEN Scorpion out there, you will get the yellow one if you order it.

Other day at Toys R Us i saw a jeep Rubicon remote control crawler.

That one sucks. It LOOKS like it would do well, but it doesnt.

Iunno, I got the Rubicon for xmas and wow it is incredible. It was 50 bucks and is 1:10 scale, locked f/r, kinda a "2 link" w/coil-over setup and has variable throttle.

Heres day 1 outa the box:

Day 2.. setting up f/r shocks like / \. No trimming of springs, lots of undercarriage trimming:

[Linked Image]

Day 3.. moved more towards a "4 link" setup. Just 1 spring centered over axle. Got lots of body trimming to do, body is really restricting flex:

Rear suspension:

1 fender is trimmed.. lol. There really isnt any difference in driving it with the new suspension mods. Best thing is, all the mods were done using stock parts:

Well worth the money, which wasn't even mine since it was a gift

My wife found a 1:18 scale Scorpion, bought it, right after I bought a Losi Mini-LST. The Mini LST is awesome. Gonna need to do some mods for sure though. So now in one day I have two R/C Trucks to play with.

I like the painted look on those. Did they bolt right up?

Thanks, I had to heat up my clod Hex and melt it into the nylint hex slot. It was pretty close, so It was't all that hard to do.

I agree, looks great! Next step is to cut the treads. They perform a lot better once cut!
