I'm currently running Valley lift springs and they are about the most mushy useless ride!!! Not only that, but they have sagged about 2" so I'm currently running spacers to level my ride out. I'd like to try some OME coils and I was wondering what kind of impressions folks have of them , and about how much lift they will give me over stock?

Ah, the VSW coils everyone bashes. I haven't had a problem yet, they have been in for about 2 years.

My coils still run strong.. my rear is up in the air, it's still a real stiff ride. I hope mine don't go bad.

I'm not sure if they're available anymore. Have you tried looking for a set of GenII springs? They accomplish the same thing and have a progressive spring rate. Much better for the GenIs.

I have had my OME coils in for about 2 years and they seem good so far. I get about 3/4" lift on my Gen 2, and they give a stiffer ride. (I also put in 1-1/2" coil spacers)

I'm not sure how much they will lift a Gen 1 truck. It will be... the lift from a standard Gen 2 spring + 3/4".

1992 montero, cranked t-bars, OME springs, 1-1/2" spring spacers, Homemade rear bumper and roof rack, 33" BFG AT, 1" body lift, Superwinch hubs, '95 SR locking rear axle, was AT - now V5MT1-3 5spd.
