My 79 cj7 had the Emergency drive switch removed before i got it. I got a replacment switch but do not know how it looks when installed. Also anyone with the diagram of the vac lines for this switch please post it. thanks <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

thanks so much these pics give me a good place to start. Is the switch in the stock location or did someone move it? I thought it was inside the glove box not beside it. Anyway thanks for the good pics. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Yes it has been moved. I had no idea that it had been moved but I just looked at the technical service manual and it states that it is located in the glove box.
When I got this Jeep it had a full roll cage and I guess it had to be relocated because the glove box wouldn't open anymore.
Actually, I think I like it better on the dash because in the snow you want to get to it quicker. However, the full roll cage is what forced the change.
