Need a Spot
My 95SR just got a rebuilt engine installed. I also had the diffs drained/filled, and the tranny serviced with a new filter.
My first possible problem is a STRONG smell of gas coming from the driver's side in the engine compartment.
Secondly, I went with synthetic fluids (Amsoil) in the tranny. It meets/exceeds Mitsu. requirements. However, now when I let off the gas slightly above 40MPh, the RPMs drop around 500rpm and it feels like the tranny is shifting to a higer gear. I'm wondering if this is just the torque lock, and it's more noticeable with the syn fluid. It does it both with overdrive off and on.
Finally, my brother picked-up the truck yesterday, and thought he'd be helpful and try to guess the code for the radio. Well, it was in the glove box. Anyway, now it just says "oFF", no matter what I try. I've tried unplugging the battery overnight, and I have the radio physically uninstalled right now. Is there any way to reset the radio so I can enter my code?

Thanks in advance!!

It sounds like you had a shop do the work. If so, take it back to the shop and ask them to sort out the problems - particularly the gas leak.
