I wonder if it's just a matter of replacing the bushings...?

Same here, and when new they pop right out...pretty much will fall out on their own.

I would have already bought them... I just don't have the $$ right now. Its Christmas and all, plus I'm trying to hold off spending money on the truck until its paid off (less than a year to go!!!). <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I'm still hoping they can benefit someone here on the forum. Kookadala, I think you should call Alcan and see if it is a matter of just changing the bushings.

I would think they would have told me if the bushings can be swapped out but perhaps they did not realize it. I'll try to call again on monday.

OK its only a year and a half later, and I'm finally getting around to putting these on my truck, but I've got a question about the bushings too. The stock springs have the eye, then a thin metal shell, then the oem rubber bushing, then another metal sleeve, and finally the bolt. But these new ones don't have the thin metal shell - just the eye, the poly bushing, the metal sleeve, and the bolt. Do I need that thin metal shell in these new springs?

no. The poly bushings are FAR better/stiffer. The OEM rubber ones need the sleeve, else the rubber will compress out the eye.

BTW, I have a set of AlCANs...the first set wasn't rated for the cap (I sold). These are slightly used (installed, unleveled with cap and load). Anyone?

Also, I need to sell my T100 (yeah yeah) and ask where is best place to list? I don't like ebay anymore. Should I try Craigslist, or Autotrader?
