I dont know how its going to pay for itself for $6500, last i checked a 2wd like that went for about $1k....6 years ago when i had one. I could see giving that guy $250-500 if it comes with about $200 cash in the glove box.

Well, a regular, rusty, gasoline pickup might fetch $250-$500, but this is a "near showroom" DIESEL pickup. EXREMELY rare, espeically the condition its in. Rare Toyotas models tend to fetch a lot more than the regular ones. And it makes worth even more since its in such good condition.

that's not a super rare model, 99% of all diesel pickups i see are '82-83 model 2wds with the L engine. in fact, i could've snagged a running L from a local wrecking yard for $200 a while back, but my old worn out 20R would've had no problem outrunning the thing.

if it's in immaculate shape, and taking the "rare" diesel into consideration, maybe $2k tops. $6500, he's dreaming. most of those trucks fetch $500, maybe $1000

I rarely disagree with you, Kyle, but this is one of those times. Mint condition, Diesel - $5K minimum.

Oh Nonsense,

Just go to Central America and pick up a 2.8 Turbo Diesel and send it stateside. Or even the new 3.0 Turbo Diesel.

The 2.8 uses the same motormounts as the 22R and the trannys are swappable except for the bellhousing. Besides that the turbo models come with the R151F tranny and 23spline Tcase. What else could anyone ask for?

OK maybe a 4 to 1 and a detroit locker....
