just thought i would post a couple of pics of my truck w/ 315/75 16 bfg at on it again. i had these on it before but not with these rims. last time i was running them on stock steel 15x7. they are now on some alum 16x8 w/ 3.5" bs and a 3/4" spacer. clears the pitman arm now but still hits the idler arm brace a little. hope to fix that with the TC idler arm when i get back to PHX. may need to BFH a little more on the firewall, but i can't tell yet. should be a much nicer ride from NY to AZ with these instead of the swampers that i drove up here with.

and so you don't think it is a mall truck...here is a shot from AJAX when i had the 35s before

I can see the pics. The truck looks good to me! (except all the road salt)

i'm in syracuse for another week or so. can't help the salt..i have washed it more in the last month than i have in the entire 4 yrs or more that i have owned it. then it snows and they dump SO much crap on the roads.

the truck is still difficult to drive in the snow. i can't use 4wd because the front is welded and the cv angles are bad and i am missing a cv boot on one side. i have a lockright in the rear and very little weight so that dosn't help. dispite all of that i drove to boston with it on fri to pick up these tires in a crazy snow storm. just have to concentrate very hard (no nose picking).

oh yeah, the truck is stock ifs (no ifs lift) just a 1" bl and BJ spacers, long shackle, and an extra spring in the rear.

Shrubber---
Would you rather have a dual coil helper/lift for the rear where you could dis the stiff rear add-a-leaf......get a soft ride.....be able to carry lotsa firewood with no apparent sag......

or a bumper?

Merry Christmas!

Hey, before you leave there...if you would like to see the country place that I grew up in during the 60's head to 591 Peck Rd, Spencerport, NY. I understand it's grown up a little since I left there in the 70's and there's more houses all around. But only if you have the time.

i dug the leafs outta YOUR junk pile in the first place!! i'm really quite happy with the rear of the truck. as it is, the back sits a bit higher than the front. i have been thinking about cutting the extra leaf down a bit to see if that will lower the back a bit. and as you can clearly see from the pics, i really need a bumper!! or an axle truss and a traction bar..or maybe a spool...hhmmmmm

that reminds me, the whole reason i need a new bumper is cuz of that rock i'm on in the second pic!!

happy holydaze...see ya in a few weeks
