I know this has probably been covered before, but I can't find it... On my rebuild, I'm thinking of just getting the oem head bolts to button things back up... rather than the ARP studs... The engine isn't very wild, so I don't think I'll need the added strength of the ARP's. So where is the best place to find the head bolts? Is this something that you can/should get from Napa/Kragen/Autobone, or should you get them from the stealer?

Thanks,
Ken

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Auto parts stores would work, so would the dealer. Other option is shoot Ted an email at engnbldr.com. I'm sure he'd ship you just the bolts if you already have the gasket set. My $.02.

Roll Me Over

I'd go ARP, to be honest. I paid $10/each for head bolts for my old 3.0 when we had the HG's done. That's $100 in bolts for the 22re, assuming they are the same price... Lots of $$.

I agree with checking w/ Ted.

Body Damage is Cool
I payed either 20 or 25 bucks total for all the head bolts from Napa for my 22R. Just get them. Don't have to pay shipping and likely you wont be in there anytime soon to make the pricey ARP's worth it.
