J, you do not need the kit to make it into a winch. All the kit is is two tow straps, a lil bit of chain, and a shackle. All you need is the shackle to attach one tow rope to the top of the jack and then place the other tow rope around the support claw and start jacking away. I too amd gonna pick up the base and i might grab the bumper hooks and the sling for lifting a vehicle by the tire...never can be too prepared. Where did you end up mounting yours or are u just gonna stow it in the back of your rig?

8 inches of lift, 33s, custom bumpers and rockbars, powertrax, T-maxx 9000, lots o lights, and some bass in the trunk

Lifted, locked, and ready to rock!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

I got a 3" lift for my rodeo and a t-shirt, both from indy 4x... Looks like santa likes big trucks...

And soon enough, I'll get myself some AT tires (don't know which ones yet)

Hey... those tires look just like my tires and the same size smile

Santa brought me Oasis tire deflaters, and satalite radio for the Amigo. I've always had to borrow Swordy's deflaters before so I am jazzed! We already have satalite in the Vehicross, but now I have it in the Amigo smile I'm happy!
