Got some slightly used 35x13.5 Toyo Mudders and got a chance to play. Here are some pics. Enjoy.

Rest of the Pictures

There were a total of three rigs. Mine, my brother(84 Yota), and my cousin(99 4Runner). Just went out for half a day of wheel then I had to get back to run sound for my church's Christmas Eve services. We all had fun and nobody broke anything, other than my t-case shifter.

looks great! how do you like the tires so far? Any bugs to work out in the setup? Found anything you would have done differently?

The tires are great. They have tons of traction. And they balanced out really well. I have some trimming to do to fit the tires at full stuff, and I need to add my front bumpstops. Also plan on cutting 1.5" out of the BL. But other than that I am very happy with it.

Personally I think either I need to make the rear springs softer or the front springs firmer because right now the front does most of the work. Cool to watch but I want the rear to twist up nicely as well.

considering how nice and level the body seems to stay,it might be working better than you think.......just cuz' it's not kicked up like it's pointing at a fire hydrant don't mean it's not working ....
run it for a while then decide.....
good job

Rich did you look to see how much the front driveline clears that crossmember at full flex? I'm guessing it didn't hit or you would have called me with a complaint.

I'm still stunned by the fact that Peter took his 'Runner out I was beginning to wonder if he was going to just be a passenger forever since he sold the pickup.

Tires look great. I wish they had more sizes and loads available. The smallest tire they have is LT265/75R16 123P E/10 (58 pounds per tire!) which is way too much for my Rodeo.

That's a good point. The rear is probably the only reason the Rodeo is as streetable as it is. If I softened it up I would probably have to add some swaybars.

Joe, as far as I could tell the driveshaft cleared the crossmember just fine. We didn't fully flex it out on the passenger side but I didn't have any problems with it. Thanks for the work on that.

Hey Rich no problem my man It was nice to work on an Isuzu again. I'm thinking about picking up another 1st Gen Troop to tinker with.
