If you're looking at buying it, why not do a fit check? I hope it's got a tilt column. Roomie is 6'1" and fits in my Belle.

i'm 6'1 and have no problem fitting into my '79. i've got bucket seats out of an '85 in it, i've noticed that a lot of the more popular seat swaps(like acura seats) make the cab pretty cramped on these little tricks.
oh, and good luck finding a '79-83 extra cab
'79 sport 4x4 longbed 20/22R hybrid with EB's OS valves, 268c cam, offy intake, weber 32/36, thorley header, 5 speed swap, 34" LTBs, downey 3" springs, marlin hysteer, 4.88s and locked
'91 4x4 shortbed 22R-E, W56, the dd!

2 hours? Shoot, that's my RT commute! Oh well; all things being relative.

If you can find a used car lot with a similar one for sell. Swing in and jump in it for a fit test. I know they'll be more than willing as long as you don't tell them you have no intention of buying the vehicle.

Not real sure; Belle's are stock; I think Blackie's look like they came out of a Runner. Seems Civics and Supras are donors; these other guys can chime in with their junkyard finds.

I have an 82 SR5 with stock buckets at 6'160 lbs with seat ajusted as far back as it will go still have no leg room its like drivin a 1942 Willys with the seat stuck all the way foward. Personally I dont mind I love my old truck I dont think youll be very comfortable. Older Celica GT buckets work well in 82 & 83 Toys
