I want to use Seafoam to clean out the throttle body and engine in general on my 95 SR. It says to either slowly pour it into the throttle body or a vac. line feeding all the cylinders. I want to make sure I do this right. Which vac. line would you guys recommend, or which line feeding the throttle body. Thanks! SP

SP, I use a small adaptor to pull the Seafoam into the BIG vac line that goes to the brake booster. Be prepared to "fog" the neighborhood! Tony P

I just did this treatment to my '95 yesterday afternoon. I used about half a can and sucked it into the brake booster line by taping a smaller line to it, working the trottle by hand, balancing the metal can on the intake manifold and slowly feeding the hose into the liquid. After I slowly fed the amount in, I shut the engine off (it had already started to smoke).
After an hour, I restarted the engine with the brake booster reattached and quickly left my neighborhood. You'd have thought I was James Bond, with the smoke screen I left behind. I live pretty close to a freeway, so I was able to get on and wring the engine out to redline several times. I ended up driving it for about 10 miles at varying RPM and it stopped smoking at some point along the way.
I also put the other half of the can into the engine oil and another can in the almost full gas tank.
I haven't driven it yet today, but I just want to put enough miles on it to get most of the fuel drawn through before refilling, and will also change the oil at that point.
Every indication is that I cleaned quite a bit of gunk out of the top end. I'll keep you posted on my results as the rest of this project proceeds.
As mentioned before, if you do this, read up on it first and be prepared for one heck of a smoke show. I mean epic. I wish I had taken pictures.

can you use it on a carb and if so do you just pour it in slowly

I would be wary of doing that, although it would probably work if you were super-careful to go very slowly. The idea behind siphoning it in to a vac port is to get just a little at a time in there. Pouring too much at once could lead to hydrolocking the engine, in theory.
Seafoam makes a spray called Deep Creep that I would feel more comfortable using down a carb throat.

John B. Deep Creep is simply Seafoam in an aerosol can, according to their reps. You can make your own with a fine misting spray bottle. Or if you want to get real creative, you can rejigger an air-powered A/C flush can to run it thru. Like JBFP said, optimal benefit is achieved by a fine mist in small quantities over a longer period of time.

Hehe...I did this to the wife's Rodeo right after we moved back here to Kali. I drove through the neighborhood here in Pebble Beach, and let's just say the natives were less than amused. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> Mine didn't stop smoking for a couple of days of short 5 mile trips (I used a full can). I just KNEW I was going to get pulled over by the Pacific Grove popo with my Oregon plates. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

I wanted to bring this back to the top, both for the other poster who's using one ounce to try to clean his truck, and to also report that my gas mileage has definitely improved by at least 1 mpg.
After every day I drive my truck (it wasn't unusual for me to drive 100 miles a day at my last job, which I had until a week ago...), I fill it up. I try to get to the same exact pump handle at the same station, pointing the same way every time.
I was gettting about 16 MPG almost every time, mixed driving, although the '95 doesn't seem to care, it gets about the same in town or on the road. The last three fill-ups, I got 18.8, 17.5 and 18.2 mpg. I don't think I was driving any differently.
This is weird. I'm not complaining; it's just odd. I've had the vehicle about 10 months and I've never had mileage numbers this good.
Just thought I'd mention it.
